  1. Rachel,

What a simple but nutritious recipe! I’m going to have to check out your post about the Vitamix, I’m always wondering what would be a good blender for making smoothies, etc. Can it make drinks for adults as well?

After my sister-in-law had her first baby, she couldn’t figure out why she couldn’t keep the apricot juice supply in the fridge. Eventually she realized my brother and I also loved apricot juice, and we had no idea she had bought it just for the baby!

    It’s delicious!

    Thanks for the advice!

    • You can pretty much do anything with a Vitamix. That is why it is my “go-to” appliance. Baby food, Smoothies, grind up granola for parfaits (YUM!), grind up coffee beans to get FRESH coffee, soup…the list goes on and on. I think I will post one of my favorite Vitamix recipe books somewhere on this site. Thanks for the idea!! There are many more recipes on the way, including SMOOTHIES!!! 🙂

  2. Oh my goodness! This sounds so yummy and I love the easy recipe.

My kids and grandkids are all grown up now, but I make healthy homemade goodies for my fur baby Luther. He’s a yellow lab with tummy troubles. Sometimes I use baby food as his main ingredient.

He’s going to love the little sweet treats I plan to make with your recipe.

    Totally awesome!

    • That’s awesome!!! I never thought about giving baby food to dogs! Brilliant! I am so glad you like the recipes! Stay tuned, there are many more to come!!

  3. Great recipe! I love that it uses dried apricots. Where I am we only have apricots in stores for a few months and they can get pricey. This is a great way to expose my baby to this fruit year round! Thanks!

    • Very true! I am so glad you like the recipe! I would love to know how it turns out! We hope to have a section where our followers can share ideas and photos sometime in the near future. Enjoy and keep that baby healthy!
